December just around the corner and slowing down.

Hello all,

I have not posted much here, because I have been running at a very fast pace trying to keep up with my real life of becoming a middle school teacher. I did not know that it would effect my writing and my soul. I am justifying what I do and needing to readjust my life. I want to write and I love to write. It is something that calls to me when I do not do it enough, but I wonder why I can not finish anything that I write. I have twenty-five stories started, but have not finished one. I have set goals to finish at least one this year and that does not look like it is going to happen. I am no closer to the end than I was five months ago.

I have this blog here for some people, but I just do not know that they are reading it. I wonder about them, because they are from my past and I wonder if we can reconnect again or has or paths went different directions and never to pass again. I wonder if we will talk again or the last time we talked was the last? I hope not, because I said some things I think they took wrong and the words made me look like a stocker and I am not. I just wish they let me know if it was over or not, just wait. I just need an answer, that is the way that I am. I keep pushing until I get an answer, but they makes people run away faster. That is just me.

This is enough for now. I have to get to writing, something that I have not done in days. I hope to write my way out of this confusen that I am in.

What I feel like right now. :(

Pain lyrics by 3 Days Grace
Songwriters: Stock, Barry; Brown, Gavin; Gontier, Adam; Sanderson, Neil; Walst, Brad;

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

You're sick of feeling numb
You're not the only one
I'll take you by the hand
And I'll show you a world that you can understand

This life is filled with hurt
When happiness doesn't work
Trust me and take my hand
When the lights go out you will understand

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

Anger and agony
Are better than misery
Trust me, I've got a plan
When the lights go off, you will understand

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing, rather feel pain

I know, I know that you're wounded
You know, you know that I'm here to save you
You know, you know I'm always here for you
I know, I know that you'll thank me later

Pain, without love
Pain, can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Rather feel pain than nothing at all
Rather feel pain

Teaching Heart Mom posting!!!

Hello,

I am trying to win this and I am blogging about it.

$25.00 Walmart Back to School Party - Giveaway #2

Here is what your blog post should include:Tell us how you would use $25.00 to get ready for Back To School. What would you buy that is Back to School related? Tell us what you love about back to school time. Do you have any special traditions for Back To School???

I would use the gift card by buying things for my new classroom. I know it will not pay for all that I need, but it will be a great help. I love back to school time, because I have four children of my own that I will not get to see as much as I have over this very hot summer in South Texas. This time is very special by being the first time I go to my own classroom. I cannot wait until Aug. 24th. I do not have any traditions for going back to school. I just try not to put things off until the last day, if I can.

If anyone is wanting to join the blog, here it is:

Revisions, to do or not to do?

Write on Wednesday on January 28, 2009

How do you do revisions? Are you doing a revision now? If so, how’s it going?

I do revisions by braking down in chapters and seeing if each chapter can stand on its own. One a week would work out good, so I have time to rewrite as much as I need for each chapter.

I am not doing revisions right now. I do not have anything that has to have revisions right now.

I have a lot of things started, but nothing finished and I am in the process to change that. I am catching up on things when all I can do is write.

A Novel Challenge Info and Writing :)

Write on Wednesday on January 13, 2009

This one has a list of questions 1- 18.

1.) What’s your favorite genre of writing?

My favorite genre is romance. I do have a couple of mystery, fantasy, and science-fiction stories started, but they have a romance undertone.

For some reason, I cannot stay away from romance. It draws me to it and I wonder why I love to stay in that world more than real life? I think it has to do with me being a Libra and think life should be fare for all and in my stories, they can.

2.) How often do you get writer’s block?
3.) How do you fix it?

I get writer’s block a lot, because I have lots of stuff always going on in my house and I can not find a quiet place to write with out someone needing something.

I have to go fix something or solve a problem before a fight between brothers happen. I feel I am the only grown-up in the house and the only one that can fix anything that goes on.

4.) Do you type or write by hand?
5.) Do you save everything you write?

I type some of my stuff and write by hand when I am not by a computer. I mostly write by hand at night in my bed. Yes, I take my writing to bed all of the time. I eat, sleep, walk, and drive with my writing.

I save everything I write. I am scared that if I throw something away, then I will need it later. If I write something on a small piece of paper, then I move it to a large one made up of these small pieces of paper.

6.) Do you ever go back to an old idea long after you abandoned it?

Yes, I do go back to old idea. They are never abandoned in my mind. If something does not work, they are put away until I feel they are needed. I have a lot of ideas that I keep for times I need inspiration for something else.

It is hard to abandon anything for too long. I just want to write everything, that I really only write a little on everything instead of finishing anything.

7.) Do you have a constructive critic?

My constructive critic for the most part. Most of everyone tells me, I am my own worst enemy. I reject it all in my mind, but I write it all down to make sure I am truly rejecting the work I have done.

I do belong to about three writing groups that critique my work that I let them read. When you think that all the work you do is bad, and then it is hard to let others see it.

8.) Did you ever write a novel?

I have three novels in the making. I have never finished a novel yet. I am hoping for this year to finish at least one novel and three short stories. I finished one news article and will have another done in May.

This has been my goal for some time. One can only hope for more time in an already busy world.

9.) What genre would you love to write but haven’t?

I have not found a genre that I have not tried writing and wanted to. I got a little mixture of stories from almost every genre.

I have mystery, fantasy, science fiction, non-fiction, and historical.

I just thought of two that I have not done.
Gothic and Western

I will try them sometime soon, now that I know I don’t have them.

10.) What’s one genre you have never written and probably never will?

Horror is one genre that I have not tried and probably never will. Don’t get me wrong; I love Stephen King just like the next guy.

I just don’t see myself writing like him, so why try. I know that sounds like a cop-out, but I know I will probably not write every genre there is, but I will do most of them.

11.) How many writing projects are you working on right now?

I am working on about 24 different writing projects at a given time.

A.) News writing article
B.) Romance novel-Count Loveliness
C.) Historical Novel- Count mistress
D.) My blog
E.) Writing back and forth with a friend
F.) Mystery novel- A Rainy Day Romance
G.) Three online writing groups that I have to write something for
H.) A writing group

Here are a couple of writing projects that I am doing at any given time.

12.) Do you write for a living? Do you want to?

No, I do not write for a living. I am a part time provider for my mother. That just means I get paid for taking care of her. Then I go to college to become a Teacher for Grades 4-8. I am working on being an English/ Reading teacher.

For the end of my day, I am a mother of four children and married. I just don’t have time to put writing first. I hope so some day soon.

13.) Have you ever written something for a magazine or newspaper?

As of this year, I have written 750-word article for the College Newspaper. I am going to do another one in May.

I have not done nothing like this before. I was scared and hoped nothing was wrong with it. This was my first non-fiction piece that more than an instructor would read and grade.

14.) Have you ever won an award for your writing?

I have never won an award for my writing or anything else.

I do not gauge my achievements by awards. I am happy with just getting something done, like a novel or short story.

My award for finishing something to myself is a new book to read. I go out and pick out one book that is the latest out for my own personal award.

15.) What are your five favorite words and why?

Read, Write, Dream, Knowledge, and Wisdom

Read—I love to read and a lot I do read. I read everything I can get my hands on.

Write—I write all of the time. I may not write were I need to.

Dream—Dreams are where most of my ideas come from for stories.

Knowledge and Wisdom—Help me put it all together and to know the difference of things I need to know.

16.) Do you write based on your dreams?
I love my dreams. They are where I can work out most of my stories. I go to bed with a problem and then I wake up with a solution.

Sometimes I go to bed and wake up with a story that I just have to put down on paper.

My dreams help me through more than the day-to-day problems.

17.) Do you favour happy endings, sad endings, or cliff-hangers?

I favor happy endings and cliffhangers. I love happy endings with a cliffhanger. Those are the best.

When a heroine and hero get together, but there is a secret from the villain at the end makes my mind run sequels of all kinds through it.

Sad endings are to make you cry and in real life, I get enough of that, so I don’t need it in what I’m going to read as an ending.

18.) Have you ever written based on an artwork you’ve seen?

No, I have never written based on an artwork. I have a friend that does beautiful artwork and would love to write about it, but I have too much to do at this time to add another project.

When I have time, I plan on writing a lot about her artwork. I have so many ideas for the artwork, that it is hard not to start writing about it.
